Tushar Muudea Sedik, known to his online audience as Twomad, tragically passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 23. Sedik achieved popularity on YouTube primarily through his comedic gaming content and skits, amassing over 2.1 million subscribers.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner reports that after several days of missing appointments and no communication, a welfare check was requested and Sedik was found unconscious at home. The cause of death is still being looked into and has been postponed until more testing is done.
Career
In 2018 Sedik start his YouTube career with streams of video game commentary. After that, he started making funny sketches and gained a loyal following on the platform. He worked with internet star Belle Delphine in 2022 on a photo session that featured comical interpretations of well-known video game characters. His final YouTube video, titled “How I Became CEO of Radioshack,” was uploaded in August 2023.
Controversy and Allegations
Sedik’s demise coincides with public debates about behaviour online and allegations of wrongdoing. Particularly, Goldibell, an osu! player, accused Sedik in public last year, alleging that he had harassed and sexually assaulted her during an attempt to end their personal connection. On the social media site X, Sedik angrily denied these charges, writing, “Never sexually assaulted nobody in my life.”
Goldibell released a statement following Sedik’s death in which she acknowledged the mixed feelings she was feeling at the time. “I regret that he passed away. I’m not depressed. I’m in disbelief and am overcome with dread. I’m so sad for his family,” she posted on X. “Even though I know his family isn’t, I’m not celebrating. I hope they’re okay. It is heartbreaking regardless of the circumstances to lose your child.”
